Your scan belongs to you.

Towl inspects Mac configuration and AI-agent files locally. It does not send scan results, captured source files, forensic identifiers, or usage telemetry to Enfour.

Local history

Scan history is stored locally so Towl can explain what changed between scans. Export happens only when you explicitly request it.

AI-agent inspection

AI-agent inspection reads locally captured skills and instruction files. It does not run your agents or fetch remote instructions referenced by those files.

Activation and licensing

Commercial builds contact Enfour to send activation codes, activate an installation and refresh its license. These requests contain the app identity, purchase email and activation code where required, a generic installation label, and an opaque installation credential. They do not contain scan findings, file paths, captured source, diagnostic contents, hardware identifiers or the computer name.

Installation credentials and signed licenses stay in this Mac’s Keychain. A valid signed license allows new scans for up to seven days offline. Saved history and exports remain available after license expiry or rejection.

Website and checkout

This website contains no analytics or tracking scripts. If you purchase Towl, Stripe and Link process the checkout and subscription information required for that transaction.
